There is a boil order in my city. Will my filter cover this?Updated a year ago

Boil orders typically occur as a result of a virus in the water. 

If you are using a pitcher filter or bottle filter, we recommend boiling the water, allowing it to cool, then filtering.

For in-line refrigerator filters or under-the-sink filters, we recommend boiling the filtered water and allowing it to cool before drinking.
