How do you install the Inline Fridge Filter?Updated 2 years ago
Our Inline Fridge Filter is compatible with ALL refrigerators containing a waterline and installs behind your refrigerator. There are two water line types: plastic/vinyl/copper (with push-fit adapters) or braided stainless steel.
If you have plastic/vinyl or copper lines, then the filter with push-fit adapters is compatible with your refrigerator. Turn off your water supply, cut the line (there may be a small amount of water still in the line so use a kitchen towel), and insert the cut lines into either side of the filter. The filter is marked with an "inlet" side, an arrow showing the director of water flow, and an "outlet" side. Be sure to connect the line connected to your wall into the inlet side. The line connected to your refrigerator should connect to the outlet side. You may mount the filter to the wall using the bracket if desired.
If you have stainless steel lines, just unscrew the stainless steel line from your refrigerator.
