We’ve decided to pursue our quality certifications from the WQA. The WQA or Water Quality Association is a not-for-profit association for the residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment industry. Working closely with ANSI, the WQA sets the water standard on certifications through its Gold Seal Product Certification Program. This program helps manufacturers assure their devices conform to national consensus safety and performance standards.
Key Certifications Highlights:
Partnering with ANSI, the WQA has a focus on WATER quality, which aligns with our commitment to water quality while NSF focuses on sanitation standards
WQA provide manufacturers with independent testing and certification to such standards for a variety of drinking water treatment products, which include rigorous laboratory tests, literature review and materials assessment.
NSF only offers 90 certifications for the 365+ contaminants we tested
While it takes time for each contaminant claim to be certified, both our Pitcher Filter and 3-Stage UTS Systems have already been awarded certifications by the WQA. In fact, our Pitcher Filter is the only pitcher system certified to remove the forever chemicals, PFOA and PFOS. We’ve partnered with EPA-accredited laboratories for our independent testing to meet or exceed the NSF Standards 42, 53, 244, 401 & 473 for water quality and the reduction of chemicals and contaminants when applicable.
All of our independently test lab results are published here.
